Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Prestige deep groove STEREO vinyl LP 7180 w/ RGV stamped in dead-wax and Bergenfield NJ address - released 1960.
Rating vinyl EX as appears unplayed with original sheen and luster, in addition to no spindle marks on labels. Side two has a few light sleeve scuffs. Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed beautifully defined analogue sound; albeit with occasional light surface and crackle commensurate with the record's age (especially at beginning of first tracks each side). VG+ laminated cover has light shelf wear, a small stub upper right corner and small wear dings upper and lower spine. There is some lower rear cover paper rippling from moisture or subpar gluing - but remains firmly intact.
