Welcome back to another round of the world's rarest Soul and Funk vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85.
Please note that all items being offered are ORIGINAL, VINTAGE PRESSINGS; I do not deal in reissues or bootlegs.
For your consideration, we have: THE GRODECK WHIPPERJENNY on People Records, circa 1970. The first and rarest album release on James Brown's 'People' label, this is psychedelic funk masterminded by session guitarist Dave Matthews, who had a long and fruitful relationship with Brown. An awesome effort, containing the cuts "Sitting Here on a Tongue," "Put Your Thing On Me," "Inside Or Outside," "Evidence for the Existance of the Subconscious," and 4 more.
Condition: this original, vintage copy is Cover: strong VG+, with a drill hole in the upper right corner, general shelve wear, very discreet clear tape on the top and bottom seams, and a small tear on the left front spine. Vinyl: VG+, with a few light marks; labels are beautiful. Overall a very solid copy of this rare and collectable LP.
