Heavy weight steel funk record from 1974 featuring several funky tracks with big drums.

Unusual tracklisting for a steel band record. Includes covers from Cymande, Fela Kuti, Lou Donaldson and others...

"Ain't no sunshine" moves along in a very funky way with tight drums and then there's a nice cover version of the Cymande track "The Message".
Side 2 closes with a funky version of Lou Donaldson's Caterpillar. One of the strongest steel band records I have heard.
