Description
You are bidding on a very rare John F. Kennedy promotion 45, sung by Frank Sinatra.
History:
This 45 contains the custom versions of "High Hopes" and "All the Way" that were made to support the 1960 John F. Kennedy presidential campaign. It is rumored that only 1,000 of these 45's were made for use as promotional handouts and are really hard to find in good condition.
Frank Sinatra does sing "High Hopes with John Kennedy" to the tune of his 1959 hit "High Hopes", but the flip, "Jack Kennedy All the Way," is by an unidentified vocal chorus.
The record label makes no mention of Frank Sinatra, Nelson Riddle, or even Capitol Records (must have been a after hours "government project").
Condition:
This record is in excellent condition. The former owner says that he never played it (had more than one copy) and it looks to be at the very least a VG+ copy. It has a small "X" in pencil on each side that probably could be erased (I tried erasing on another 45 I got from this person, and it came off OK). This is the only defect keeping it from being a NM rating. I doubt that you could find a better copy anywhere. It came protected in a plain brown sleeve.
