Welcome back to another round of the world's rarest Psych and Outsider vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85.
For your consideration, we have: NAOMI "Cottage Songs" LP, featuring "How Do," "Life Is Song," "Dear Friend," "You Keep Me Warm," "Mellowside," and 7 others on No Label Name (Private Press) Records, circa mid '70s. Very nice acid-folk femme psych LP from Utah, purchased in Salt Lake City some years ago. Has obtained "grail" status in recent years, as collectors have discovered her work. Very clean disc; I will try to be as descriptive as possible in grading below.
Condition: this original, vintage copy is clean VG (cover), VG+++/M- (vinyl), autograph and dedication from Naomi on lower left front cover; general wear and aging on front and back (see photos.) Mild splitting and foxing on top seam. Bottom seam split almost the entire length of the jacket, but some discreet clear tape applied by previous owner has kept the seam tight and functional. Overall, the cover is still very presentable with no extraneous writing, tears, etc. Now for the best news: the disc and labels are in almost perfect condition. Only a short, mild cosmetic mark on the first track prevents the vinyl from being M-. I am a strict grader, and the buyer should be very happy with this copy as described.
