I am at it again, making available one of the rarest of all FRANK ZAPPA lps. This is an original '68 late mono u.s. thick vinyl lp. With yellow VERVE record promo labels #V-8741. Called: LUMPY GRAVY. I acquired this lp from a 60's/70s disc jockey, he never played the lp. Side one is LUMPY GRAVY PART 1, Side two is LUMPY GRAVY PART 2. This is a very rare lp in mono, and as a promo. I have many record guides and promo guides none of them show this lp as existing in mono.Possibly because very few have ever exchanged hands. Also by '68 mono was completely phased out. None the less it gives me pleasure to make available to Zappa collectors this rarity. The cover is a thick cardboard gatefold, with NO seam or spine splits, bent or pushed in corners, cut outs, ring wear, writing, etc. Just has very mild wear. The lp has perfect labels with NO spindle marks, writing, wear, etc. Vinyl has a deep glossy shine with NO scratches, scuffs, groove wear, warps, etc. And would be mint, if not for a small bit of minor sleeve stains on each side. I do not have a record cleaning machine, if you have one, it should take off the stains. Lps this rare and in this condition are not easy to come by.
