Description
This is Elvis 1st record, and as far as I have been able to research, the 1st German Pressing made specifically for the US servicemen in Germany. It has the ultra rare Resco/Biem Black and silver label. It says printed in the USA on the cover, and made in the USA on the label, but manufactured in Germany on the run off. It also does have the rare P.D. credit for "Just Because". It says LPM-1254 on the cover (with the pink and green RCA label) unlike the later all green ones for Germany. I have only seen 1 other copy like this online. The run off markings say LP-G2-PP-1282/3- X. The actual condition of the record is in great condition, with 1 or 2 very small scuffs that would barely consider scratches that are on the surface of the vinyl and should not effect play. There is a few small tears on the middle of the binding/spine, but none of the paper is missing. Aside from that the cover (front and back) are in fantastic condition. There are no markings on the cover aside from a price stamped on the ($2.50) on the back right corner in red. The sleeve is plain beige paper. If there is anything else I can answer, please feel to ask... This is a great record, that would make a great addition to anyone looking to add to or start a collection. This is the one that started it all.
