Description

Columbia #41990/1/2/3. Rare double LP documents performances from Columbia Records National Sales Convention of 1957. Event was emceed by company president Goddard Lieberson. Performances Jerri Adams (2 cuts), Don Cherry (2), Trio Los Panchos (2), Kenny Bowers (2), Ray Conniff (1), Erroll Garner (3), Rhonda Fleming (1), Frankie Laine (4), Eileen Rodgers (2), Norman Petty Trio (2), The Hi-Lo's (3), Les & Larry Elgart (2), Bobby Lord (2), Mel Tillis (2), Marty Robins (2), Carl Smith (2), Ray Price (2), and Johnny Mathis (3). Also includes a brief came appearance by Leonard Bernstein. Both vinyl have been VPI cleaned. LP 1 is in VG++ condition. LP 2 is in VG+ condition. Cover is in VG minus condition. There are 6" & 5" splits in the top right of gatefold cover.
