Title:         Hit and Run

Label:           Audio Lab   AL 1556

Year:           1960

Country:            USA

Stereo/Mono:    Mono

Comment:         Very rare all woman Western Swing Lp from Ann Jones...her

second (and last) LP after her debut, "Ann Jones and Her American Sweethearts" also on Audio Lab

a year earlier in 1959.  These are her only 2 LPs  that I am aware of.   !

Condition:

Record is VG+....The vinyl retains much of its original luster and the labels are clean and undamaged aside from a little wear and very light spindle traces around the center hole....both sides have a couple of medium scratches which are briefly audible as quick ticks, they are isolated....and over quickly and middle level, and easy to forget because before and after is very clear and quiet vinyl with quite good sonics/production...the playing and singing just swings all the way through...a really superior recording.

The cover is VG+....top seam worn and frayed 1/16" at the two corners...bottom and spine much better, only minor edge wear...corner dings bottom corners...very tiny scratching over Ann's belt buckle...some ring wear, mostly visible on the b&w back cover, which shows a bit more wear overall than the full color laminated front cover...good color and lamination holding nicely...overall nice looking displayable cover.

General Policy & Shipping Info:

Your best way to predict the kind of buying experience you might have from me is to take a little closer look at my feedback.

If you do, I think a pretty clear and consistent pattern will emerge about what to expect from me in most situations.

• I combine purchases to save shipping.

• For records: Media Mail: Each additional LP is $1.00 Limit 4 per shipment
• Domestic Priority Mail:  Each additional LP is $3.00 Limit 4 per shipment
• International First Class Mail:  Each additional LP is $4.00 Limit 4 per shipment
• International First Class Mail, Canada: Each additional LP is $3.00 Limit 4 per shipment

I store and ship records separate from their covers    (stops ring wear and seam splitting)

I ship all records using the following:

• special record mailer (holds 4 records)
• custom cardboard insert pads
• poly outer sleeve for each record (except box sets)
• heavy duty mailing tape...

• If you have made multiple purchases from me and you do not receive a combined item invoice, please let me know and I will send you one.

• Refunds & Returns:

Money back if not satisfied when item is returned intact, complete and undamaged within 10 days of auctions close.  Main thing is I want you to be happy with your purchase..

Sealed Records and other unopened items which are sealed are not returnable if opened.

• .Shipping Cost:

Shipping charges are actual cost, or as close as I can get..

• .International buyers please note:

You are responsible for all Customs duties and laws of your country.  I will not change the value of the item to save customs duties, or for any other reason.  Items held by customs are the responsibility of the buyer, as are any duties or other charges incurred.

The USPS does not offer insurance or tracking on First Class International Mail shipments.    Priority International Mail has tracking and is insurable.  Get it if your shipment valued over $75.00, or if your country has aggressive Customs  policies where packages are subject to random witholding of indeterminable length without notification.

(they take it from the general mail and keep it for a long time without telling you anything)  In cases like these, tracking is essential...and insurance could be a serious optionl.
