Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
SEALED New Jazz Mono vinyl LP 8277 - released 1960s. As a sealed item I cannot be held accountable for label variations.
2 1/2" shrink tear top seam (includes cover discoloration and shallow paper tear from exposure - see photo). Also 1" shrink tear center throat (see 2nd photo). Slight paper curl upper left corner. 3" superficial horizontal hairline from marking device center cover. Inspection stamps rear cover. Additional artists include Sonny Red alto sax, Paul Chambers bass and Louis Hayes drums. Van Gelder engineer.
