Grading of Records
I grade my Vinyls very conservatively and accurately under a bright light.  A description of the grading scale is below:
M: (MINT) - perfect.  vinyl is pristine and Unplayed / cover is flawless and/or sealed  NM (Near Mint) - : just under mint. Must have been played once and a very, very slight amount of wear on the cover or inaudible wear on the vinyl (surface wear from age, generally) but is otherwise flawless  EX (Excellent) - : vinyl / cover shows signs minor signs age or wear that are more or less undistinct / inaudible.  VG:(Very Good) -  vinyl / cover shows some visible wear / age but is overall in very good shape.  pops and clicks may be ever so slightly noticeable, but don't effect play or overall listening experience.
