Description
Up for auction is a very rare Late 1920s early 1930s Race Blues 78 by Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe.This is on the Columbia 14000 Race series label # 14455.The songs are titled Frisco Town on one side and has Goin' Back To Texas on the other side.Beautiful 78.The Frisco Town side has extremely light to light scratches with 3 very small scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has a couple of extremely light scuffs.Has a couple very small pit marks.The Goin' Back To Texas side has extremely light to light scratches with 1 very small scratch I can feel with fingernail.Also has a few small extremely light scuffs.Also has about 5 very small pit marks and a tiny dimple on this side only.The record also has quite abit of groove wear but the grooves still have some shine and are definately not stripped.Really is a Gorgeous looking 78.I played this and this is what I heard.The Frisco Town side plays with light static when the treble is low.All the way down plays a bit quieter.Will probably play with medium static if treble is turned up halfway.Plays Beautifully for a nearly 80 year old 78 with a few light ticks here and there.The Goin' Back To Texas side plays with light static with the treble low and does have some light ticks here and there but really plays very nicely.Will probably play with medium static if treble is turned up halfway.Both songs play loud and clear even with the static and really is a Beautiful 78 even with the groove wear.It comes with an original Columbia label sleeve which is in Beautiful condition with no splits.Has a # written on two corners.If the buyer is not 100% satiafied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.Buyer to pay $4.00 Media rate shipping anywhere in the U.S.Please add $1.00 if insurance is desired.
