Description

VeeJay Records VJ 581 The Beatles Please, Please Me b/w From Me To You.  Vintage circa 1964  VEEJAY/VJ 45 rpm "TRANSITIONAL LABEL" style 45rpm is strong VG + condition with just light scratches and scuffs, nothing that should effect play.   Nice labels and nice shiny gloss on this hard to find VEEJAY OVAL / VJ brackets style circa 1964 "Transitional label" Beatles 45rpm.     
Apparently in 1964 at the height of Beatlemania Veejay (VJ) Records decided to change label logo styles and began mixing different VeeJay oval or VJ bracket labels on 45rpm records, collectors have since named them "Transitional labels".   The version offered here has a bracket style VJ  Please, Please Me label and oval VeeJay style From Me To You label and comes along in an original "Singles Of Significance" VJ 45rpm sleeve in excellent condition.  
Veejay VJ "transitional label" 45rpm records are a must have in every Beatles collection!  
COLLECTORS NOTE: This record is also found reverse with oval style VeeJay Please, Please Me and bracket style VJ From Me To You labels to really drive us Beatles collectors crazy! Thanks VJ...err VEEJAY!
