Description

Black Sabbath - The Ozzy Osbourne years - Essential/Castle 1991

Much sought-after box-set up for grabs in unusually excellent condition.

This was a review copy which never had to be reviewed. Of the 5 LPs only the first two have been played a few times. I believe the others may be mint, but safest to describe them all as near mint.
(I just now played the start of sides 1 and 3 - zero crackle, great sound, good as new - a real rock n roll timewarp)

  • LPs - near mint
  • inner sleeves - mint/near mint
  • 12-page A4 booklet - near mint
  • Box - the left-hand side is a little scuffed with normal shelfware over the past 24 years. A couple of small damp spots. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Overall the box is 7.5/10, while the LPs are 10/10

The 5 LPs contain all the best early Sabbath material from the early LPs.
