This is the highly RARE

Apple Acetate of the Rolling Stones live album "Get Your Ya-Ya's Out".

This item is so rare, it was difficult to find much information on it at all, but I do know this is a test pressing of the first mix of what was later to become the "Get Your Ya-Yah's Out" album. There are many differences between this mix and what actually ended up getting released.

APPLE only pressed these acetates for a short duration between 1968-1970 – this one was pressed in November 1969 and was not issued with an album cover. These acetates were distributed in plain paper covers.

The last time I saw the same item for sale was in 2004.

Condition:

There are some scratches on both sides of the record which I have reflected in the photographs as best I can.

Side One: Scratches which makes the record jump on Track 1 through to halfway into Track 2.

After that there is no jumping at all and just a slight surface noise.

Side Two: Plays perfectly all the way through with virtually no surface noise. Good quality sound.

On side two, the label has been written on with the words ‘M&K Mix’.

I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind.
