Description
Another extremely rare Angels item surplus to my personal collection. This is the very first ever pressed interview disk from The Angels,
the band that was to dominate and define the Australian pub rock scene for well over 30 years.
This record is the white label 12" on a plain white label (with band name stamp). Far more scarce than any other Angels interview disk,
this is the Angels related item that is missing in 99% of Angels record collections.
Tracks are as per the album release with interviews with band members cut between songs.
This item HAS BEEN PLAY TESTED. It plays throughout without skips, and with minimal background noise. Labels are near to perfect (as
shown in photos), and there are ony a few marks over the entire disk. One light scratch is on side one, with a couple of lighter marks on
side 2. This is a genuine keeper in almost any collection. The only reason it is leaving my collection is because I found an unplayed
copy a year or so ago!
As a very significant bonus, the record comes in the original white foldout sleeve with the equally rare sticker of the first album cover
on the front, and the running time sheets taped into the inside of the coverjust as it was sent out to record stations to promote the bands
debut album in 1977. There is yellowing of the 37 year old sticky tape as the photos show. Cover has a number label on the front and has
seam splits and marks, but is clearly original as the photos show.
Please view photos carefully, and feel free to ask any questions before you bid.
Shipping is $10 flat rate within AUSTRALIA.
Pickup is available if preferred.
