Description
Rare 45 rpm spoken-word record: UNCLE REMUS STORY (Negro Dialect) [For Private Use Only], distributed by Dialect Records of Roanoke, Virginia; contents copyright Holman Willis, 1948; JO-8W-2612. The actual record was probably made in the 1950's. I haven't been able to find another copy this available online, and only one on completed-auction websites - but it was the 78 rpm shellac version, not a 45. There is another Holman Willis 45, called "The Psaltree Sermon", also Negro Dialect".
Condition: EX+ (vinyl is glossy and NM except for a soft scuff at beginning of side 1; clean labels).
(Vintage Vinyl, Record, Non-Music, Single, Spoken Word, Black Americana, Story, Bre'r Fox, Brer Rabbit, Folk Tales, Fiction, Southern Americana, 1940's, Collectibles, Memorabilia)
