Description

Circa 1963 this 45 is on the DADE label with a catalog number of 1851.It is Yvonne Fair doing the classic funk track SAY YEAH YEAH! b/w the R&B track STRAIGHTEN UP.The labels on the copies I have seen on the internet read "Distributed By Atlantic Records" but this one does not and it has a DADE original catalog number of 1851,so this leads me to beleive it is a first pressing.The dead wax has a number of 1031 and MARLIN 1031 and 1031 is also under the artist name on the label.This is not the best of copies graded low end of VG+ with some scratches and scuffs,cut out BB hole through label,some light water stains on the label but overall it is not a bad copy that plays fine of what I feel is a semi-rare 45.The record was produced by James Brown with back-up by his band The Famous Flames,a search on the internet funk sites should let you hear it.Email me with any info on this copy as my research didn't get very far.
