Description
Up for auction is the super rare Prog/Psych Monster self-titled LP "Mighty Baby" released on Head Records #LPS 025 in 1969. This is the FIRST US press DJ Copy and not a later reissue.Visually graded using Goldmine standards, the vinyl rates a near mint with beautiful shine and a hint of wear. The gatefold jacket rates a near mint with no splits or ring wear, vibrant colors and extremely light edge wear. This is a top copy that will not need to be upgraded. A gorgeous copy of this rare sought after record. DO NOT MISS OUT! Low starting bid and no reserve! Will be shipped in a sturdy record mailer within a protective plastic sleeve with the record outside of the jacket to prevent splits. Please see my other auctions for more rare vinyl.
Mighty Baby were formed in 1968 from the ashes of The Action. They released two albums, Mighty Baby (which appeared in December 1969, but had been recorded a year earlier) and A Jug Of Love (October 1971).
