Description
Decca F.12619 "Patterns" previously unreleased while the Small Faces were still with Decca, this was released when they had moved to Immediate. Surface marks on the vinyl are significant in number but are light and do not penetrate the surface, they are typical of a well played record of the time. Side A has minor crackles and only one click, the sound deterioration is much less than expected from the visual. The B-side has crackles and pops and a few clicks but no skips, the sound deterioration is commensurate with the visual. The audio has been fully checked using an Audio Technica AT-LP120-USB direct drive professional turntable while monitoring the "Audacity" spectrographic representation on play through.
