Description
This rare vinyl record from 1964 features the legendary Beatles band with the title "Please Please Me / From Me To You". It is a 45 RPM single record with a paper sleeve case type and black color vinyl material. This was released under Vee-Jay Records label with the catalog number VJ 581.
This edition of the record is a VJ Label Error Pressing, making it a unique find for collectors. The record grading is FAIR (F) condition, but has been tested and plays all the way through on both sides without skipping. The first test on the “From Me To You” side seemed to skip at the beginning of the song. I did two more tests and the record did not skip during those two other listens. The labels and vinyl have clear visual imperfections. Still, a rare find with a true vintage sound!
This was produced by Sir George Martin in the 1960s and it falls under the categories of Pop, Rock, Rock 'n' Roll, and 1960s Beatles British Invasion. The record size is 7" and it features the original cover with the VJ Label Error Misprint. On the "A" Side, Please Please Me has the older Oval Vee Jay Logo, and on the "B" Side it has the VJ Brackets Logo, so 2 different variations of the Vee Jay logo on the same Beatles 45!
