Rare CLEAN 1961 Original DOO-WOP / GROUP SOUND 7" 45rpm on CANADIAN AMERICAN Records ( # CA-130 ) by JERRY LANDIS ( aka: Paul Simon - born 11/5/41 in Newark, New Jersey - also recorded as Paul Kane, Harrison Gregory, True Taylor and Tom & Jerry with his later partner Art Garfunkel ) . Record is in nice VG++ condition ( rec / slv ) and is in heavy green paper sleeve - record plays very close to new - No marks or writing on labels... Very scarce ! and Clean!
HAS THAT REAL EARLY NEW YORK DOO-WOP SOUND - WITH BACKING GROUP!!!
( almost sounds like Dion & The Belmonts in style - Paul's RAREST 45!!! Valued at over $100 in most Price Guides!!! )
Side One: "I WISH I WEREN'T IN LOVE" -a TERRIFIC doo-wop mid-tempo track! Why it wasn't a hit, I'll never know!!
Side Two: "I'M LONELY" - a really excellent DOO-WOP ballad track
