Up for auction is a beautiful original mono copy of the Jazz album "Kelly At Midnite" by jazz pianist Wynton Kelly on Vee Jay Records #3011. He is joined by Paul Chambers on bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums. Vinyl is an original first pressing on the black label with the rainbow border and the oval around the logo. Visually graded using Goldmine standards, this excellent LP grades a VG++ with Very light wear and amazing shine. Cover is VG+ with its' only flaws is a small bit of wear to the top edge and slight crease to the top right corner. A real beauty!! Low starting bid and no reserve. Please see my other auctions for more rare vinyl.
From Wikipedia: The Allmusic review by Ron Wynn states "This 1960 date was a first-rate trio outing with Kelly given the space to demonstrate subtlety and flair, harmonic precision, melodic brilliance and rhythmic diversity".
