Description
Randy Weston with Art Blakey Trio and Solo First U.S. Pressing Mono DG Vinyl LP. Vinyl (VG) - LP has been dusted, wet-cleaned using the Spin-Clean system, and play-graded. No deep scratches and any marks are superficial and only visible under strong light. Plays without skips and very minimal surface noise, only really noticeable because this is a rather quiet pressing. First pressing on white Riverside labels with black and blue words/graphics. Deep-groove. Side A runout: RLP-12-227 A (all etched) Side B runout: RLP-12-227-B (all etched) - The B looks like it was an A changed to a B. Cover - (G+) Grading the cover conservatively due to the "Inspected" tape that wraps around the front and back (see photos). No ring wear. The front cover is still glossy, but the back cover has pretty basic aging. No discount notches or holes. Seams are intact but for one 2" split in the middle of the top seam which has caused a little damage to the front cover photo (see photos). Cover and LP will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve. The record will be shipped in a generic white inner sleeve (original sleeve is missing) separate from the cover to prevent further splitting.
