Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Randy Weston ‘Music From The New African Nations Featuring The Highlife’ LP on Colpix Records CP-456. Other musicians include Budd Johnson, Booker Ervin, Ray Copeland, Jimmy Cleveland, Quentin Jackson, Julius Watkins, and Aaron Bell.
Record info:
Near mint with a very minor amount of surface noise.
Cover info:
Strong VG+ with solid seams and some very minor corner wear. The front cover has some circular indenting (not ringwear) from the record being stored flat for years.
Label / Pressing info:
Original deep groove white label promo press.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
