CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photos/dedication/credits); one seam partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Columbia House pressing. Slight discolration on label. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD An Old Time Christmas, an album of Christmas music by country music artist Randy Travis, peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's Top Holiday Albums and No. 13 on Country Albums. It was certified Gold by the RIAA. A reviewer on allmusic.com says, "Of these ten Christmas songs, some are old, some are new, and one is by Travis (How Do I Wrap My Heart for Christmas, written with Paul Overstreet). God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is outstanding." Printed on the inner sleeve is the following dedication: "I'd like to dedicate this first Christmas album to the memory of Jill Youngblood. Christmastime was very special to her. As most of you know, Jill was my fan club president and she passed away March 28, 1989. All of us at The Travis Organization miss her very much, as do the fans she gave so much of her time to."
