Randy Stonehill ULTRA RARE DOUBLE MISPRINT LP

This set was only offered in the 1980’s to Larry Norman mailing list receivers. The description they sent with it is below.

This year we decided we could release something from the archives which suddenly seems very timely. Randy Stonehill is celebrating his twenty years of composition and perfonnance, so we thought we would join in the fun and release our pressings of Born Twice. This is what we have: Single-disc pressings in "single-pocket" black and white jackets; printed circa 1971.

There were several DIFFERENT versions of the album pressed during that period. There was , the ORIGINAL version. There was a SOCOND version which included a studio recording of "Christmas time." There was an INADVERTENT version, pressed during Larry's absence when he was touring in England; a "two-headed coin," with both sides containing the exact same material. (These "coin" pressings have been in circulation for many years, and probably have value only to collectors.) We do not have any of theses double-sided pressing. (Arf.)

What we have is a MIS-PRESSED version. One side contains the correct songs from Born Twice. rhe other side contains songs from Judgement Day At Speedee Mart; an album which Lany md Randy had planned to release next. This seemed inappropriate to release until we thought Jf making a new pressing of the missing side from Bom Twice. And to balance out the misnatched pressings we used the missing songs from Judgement At the Speedee Malt. AND.. .just '0 no one gets confused. Phydeaux pressed the record in East Coast deep blue vinyl. So now ,verythlngis balanced. We have four DIFFERENT sides of music (which adds up to TWO complete llbums.) Understand? (Even Phydeaux got a little confused on this one.) And we are adding the IUJEDISCalong with the normal black vinyl pressing: kind ofa "black and blue" thing, in respect or all the punishment this poor thing went through.

Since we only have a certain number of Bom Twice albums we can't really offer this on our 'hydeaux Order Form, We send our Solid Rock Newsletter out to countries all over the world. Jut we can't really give copies to everyone who might want it. because we'd end up getting ietters rom people but ,wouldn't have any albums to send out. So we're just .ending this flyer to a small lumber of people at a time, according to who has written to us lately: which is what we did last 'ear with Bootleg and it seems to work out peacefully. So, if you're interested we'll kno\\' Jecause you'll write to us. If you're NOT interested we'll know because we won't hear from you. )0, after about ten days (plus four more days for slow mail), we'll mark your name off and send mother copy of this flyer to the next person who writes to us.
