description: The matrix numbers on this record (PT-002) fit into the Bronx-based indie hip hop label, Elite Records' discography. This is the missing record that was scheduled to be released between The Heartbeat Brothers "Time '2' Get Paid" (PT-001) and "Can We Do This" (PT-003). That would date it from late '88 or perhaps early '89. I spent an hour on the phone yesterday speaking with a personal acquaintance of Gangster G from Marauder & The Fury. I received second hand information, but supposedly according to Gangster G these songs were definitely produced by Paul C McKasty. Paul C is all over both of the aforementioned Heartbeat Brothers releases, plus he produced one side of Marauder & The Fury's prior release on Public Records, so it's very unlikely that he wasn't involved with these recordings in some capacity. I've owned this record for fifteen years or so and in that time I've become aware of just one other existing copy of this test press. If you Google it all you're going to find are playlists from my college radio show. This is hands down the rarest and most largely unknown release in the Paul C discography. Good luck bidding!
grade: Strong VG or better due to some light needle burn. Record is mostly shiny with a few light surface marks. Plays/sounds strong with no distracting audible defects to mention.
