You are bidding on a Vinyl issue of The Ramones’ 1979 double  LP live album, “It’s Alive” issued on Sire Records; (SRK2 6074). This LP is an import, released by Sire Records in Portugal. This is a recording of the Ramones’ show on New Years Eve from the Rainbow Theatre, London, UK, on December 31, 1977.  For some unknown reason, this LP was originally not issued in the US.  The LP’s are in great shape, and comes with the Gatefold LP cover.

The Ramones were an American punk rock band that formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens, in 1974. They are often cited as the first true punk rock group. Despite achieving a limited commercial appeal in the United States during their time together, the band saw more success in England and Brazil, and are today seen as highly influential.

We purchased this item decades ago, played it (and enjoyed it!), and it has been sitting in our home (vertically) for the last few decades. 

The LP is in near mint condition. The LP cover is in very nice shape, with only the slightest wear on the corners of the LP cover.  (Please see photos). Please remember that this album was well taken care of, but it was played as part of our record collection decades ago.
