I am offering here a very rare autographed copy of the Ramones 1st single "Blitzkrieg Bop". Catalogue Number Sire 6078 601The single it's self with the picture sleeve is rare enough, but this was signed by the band on the 23rd Febuary 1980 at the Electric Ballroom in Camden. I can guarantee the authenticity of the signatures as they were obtained by myself at the sound check on the afternoon of the show. This has been sitting in a box in a plastic cover for some 25 years, indeed I forgotten it's existence!

This is a particularly rare item in that Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee are sadly no longer with us. So here I am offering an iconic and in many ways one of the most influential 45's of the mid 70's I will start the auction at £1 it will sell to the highest bidder, so good luck!!
The cover shows some minor creases and slight wear, as does the inner sleeve. The Vinyl shows some sign of having been played...... I last played it 25 plus years ago, I do miss the old turn table and the time to sit down and "listen" to music!!
Lastly if you have come across this listing without having heard of the Ramones, I will attach here a short biography of one of the finest and most influential Rock'n Roll bands to have graced the planet..
The Ramones were an American rock band that formed in Forest Hills, Queens, New York in 1974, often cited as the first punk rockgroup. Despite achieving only limited commercial success, the band was a major influence on the punk rock movement both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
All of the band members adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname "Ramone", though none of them were actually related. They performed 2,263 concerts, touring virtually nonstop for 22 years. In 1996, after a tour with the Lollapalooza music festival, the band played a farewell show and disbanded. By a little more than eight years after the breakup, the band's three founding members—lead singer Joey Ramone, guitarist Johnny Ramone, and bassist Dee Dee Ramone—had all died.
Their only record with enough U.S. sales to be certified gold was the compilation album Ramones Mania. Recognition of the band's importance built over the years, and they are now cited in many assessments of all-time great rock music, such as the Rolling Stone lists of the 50 Greatest Artists of All Time and VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. In 2002, the Ramones were ranked the second-greatest band of all time by Spin magazine, trailing only The Beatles. On March 18, 2002, the Ramones—including the three founders and drummers Marky and Tommy Ramone—were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
