Description

Ramones – Acid Eaters
1993 UK First Pressing | Chrysalis CHR 6052 | VG++ Vinyl / EX Cover
Ramones – Acid Eaters
1993 UK First Pressing | Chrysalis CHR 6052 | EX+ NM/VG
Rare original 1993 UK first pressing of Acid Eaters by the Ramones — released on Chrysalis Records (CHR 6052). This pressing features the full psychedelic punk tribute set, including covers of The Who, The Stones, Love, and The Beach Boys, all done with the Ramones’ signature punch.
Unique place in Ramones history – Acid Eaters is the band’s only full covers album, paying tribute to their ’60s garage, surf, and British Invasion roots. It stands out both musically and historically within their discography.
This edition is becoming increasingly scarce, as vinyl production for Acid Eaters was minimal due to the CD-dominated era. Pressed in the UK and housed in its original full-color sleeve with matching Chrysalis labels.

• Vinyl: VG ++ – Beautiful, glossy vinyl that plays flawlessly from start to finish. No skips, warps, clicks, or surface noise on one side Visually stunning with only the faintest signs of handling under strong light — another side is virtually prefect but has a small bit of paper or something stuck to it , I believe it’s cleanable but I don’t have the cleaning equipment, it only effects Journey to the centre of the mind in two parts of the song but other than that it’s EX++ but this small defect makes it VG++ at the moment
• Sleeve: EX++ – Original 1993 cover in strong condition. Very light edge and corner wear, no rips or writing. No shrinkwrap. Spine is clean, fully intact, and legible.
Important Disclaimer – Please Read Before Purchasing
Hello, and thank you for your interest in my vinyl collection. Please be aware that I do not accept returns on any vinyl records. These items are rare, often delicate, and irreplaceable, and all sales are final.
I kindly ask that you read the full description and carefully inspect all photos before purchasing. I make every effort to grade records honestly and conservatively using the standard Goldmine system (VG, EX, NM, etc.), but grading is ultimately subjective. If you’re particular about condition or grading, please buy only if you’re comfortable accepting my assessment — as with all online vinyl sales, it’s wise to take grading with a pinch of salt.
All records listed are from my personal collection, many of which have been safely stored and rarely played, some not played in 20+ years. All records are kept in archive-grade inner sleeves, and you will receive a free outer plastic protective sleeve with every purchase. You will receive everything shown in the photos.
If you’re purchasing a high-value record, I strongly encourage local collection, where you’re welcome to inspect and play the record on my system before finalizing the sale.
Please note: I do not accept returns, refunds, swaps, or price matching. I’m not responsible for buyer’s remorse or disputes over grading after delivery. I do not guarantee first or early pressings unless explicitly stated in the listing — please research matrix numbers, barcodes, and press details yourself. I photograph and document all items before shipping to prevent fraud. All records are securely packaged in proper vinyl mailers for safe transit.
I’m selling these carefully curated records to fund a dream guitar: a 1966 Fender Stratocaster. These are pieces of my history — not many are left in this condition, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Thanks for your understanding, and feel free to message me with any questions before purchasing.
