Ramases "Space Hymns" original U. K. 33 1/3 rpm Long-playing (LP) phonograph record, Vertigo Records 6360 048, with six-fold album cover (by Roger Dean). This album was not released in the United States. The stereo record has predominately green-and-blue custom labels, with black-and-blue Vertigo logo, and black print text. Both labels are clean, with no writing on either side. The artwork for the custom labels is by Roger Dean. This was the first album by Ramases. Ramases was an incredible progressive rock/psychedelic rock group from England. Ramases featured Ramases and Sel (all vocals), Eric Stewart (lead guitar, Moog synthesizer), Lol Creme (lead guitar, Moog synthesizer), Graham Gouldman (guitar, bass guitar), Kevin Godley (drums, flutes), and Martin Raphael (sitar). Eric Stewart, Graham Gouldman, Lol Creme, and Kevin Godley would later form the rock group 10cc. "Space Hymns" was recorded at Strawberry Studios, Manchester, England. "Space Hymns" was released in the United Kingdom, in 1971. The songs on the album are (Side One) "Life Child", "Hello Mister", "And The Whole World", "Quasar One", "You're The Only One", (Side Two) "Earth People", "Molecular Delusion", "Balloon", "Dying Swan Year 2000", "Jesus Come Back", and "Journey To The Inside". All music and lyrics were written by Ramases and Sel. The record is a Strawberry production. Engineered by Eric Stewart and Peter H. Tattersall. Album cover photograph and idea by Ramases. Artwork by Roger Dean. The phonograph record appears to have never been played, and is in mint condition. There is no sign of a turntable spindle ever touching the center hole. The record comes in a white poly-lined paper sleeve, made in England. The six-fold album cover is in near mint condition. There is a photograph of Ramases and Sel on reverse side. There are no cutout marks of any kind. This is the nicest copy of this record that you could find. The record, sleeve, and album cover come in a clear protective sleeve.
