Description
This is an absolute one off and unique piece of music memorabilia. From my private collection, a Very RARE and unusual listing of: original UK 1st pressing of Ralph McTell's 1969 12" Vinyl 2nd Album, (which includes the iconic song "Streets Of London") with original word sheet and protective inner sleeve, and outer sleeve with unusual and superb artwork on the front and biography /track listing /portraits on the back. Also included in the sale is an AUTOGRAPHED CONCERT TICKET from his Newcastle-Upon-Tyne City Hall show in 1971, where Lindisfarne were supporting him! The album itself has obviously been played and the vinyl shows many surface blemishes, however, apart from a few pops and crackles here and there it plays really well from start to finish without any skips, such is the brilliance of old quality heavyweight vinyl. The cover has some storage wear and a little creasing but is Structurally sound and in amazing condition considering it's 50 years old. The lyric sheet has a small hole in one corner, but all text is clear and visible. I have checked the signature with others on Google images and it looks pretty darned pukka to me. I have been as honest as I can with this, you are buying the ultimate trinity of music history (album, concert ticket and autograph) from an iconic giant of folk music, the individual items are not perfect, but combined, they are definitely greater than the sum of their parts.
