Description

This lot includes seven vinyl record albums. The jackets are in more worn condition than the actual vinyl. All have been housed in a glass enclosed record archive shelf for the last twenty plus years and have remained preserved in the vintage condition in which I received them. I have enjoyed listening to them all and returned back to their cases immediately after each listen. I ably listened to these a handful of times over the years. Please read my condition notes and view condition photos. I uploaded as many photos as it would allow me, and described further below and observations. In short, the jackets are in more worn shape than the actual vinyl, which are in used vintage condition ranging from good to very good to excellent.

Title 1

“Chess”

Jacket shows lots of shelf wear, vinyl has been enjoyable for me, please see photos for overall condition, some signs of vintage use which existed prior to me purchasing it.

Title 2

Miles Davis “Milestones’

Jacket is extremely worn with a ring as seen in condition photos. Vinyl is way better condition than the jacket. Minor vintage wear overall to vinyl, heavy wear to jacket. See condition photos.

Title 3

Rahsaan Roland Kirk and Al Hibbler “A Meeting of Times”

Jacket is in extremely shelf worn and poor condition showing tears near edge and the glued seem and other edge now fold open like a book rather than a slip case. It is in the same condition that I purchased it in and has been well cared for over the last twenty years by me, but the rough vintage condition in which I received it never prevented me from enjoying listening to the superb music of the master Rahsaan Roland Kirk! All vinyl could use air compressor blow. I always only used a mechanical hand blowing bulb to be as gentle as possible of these special records. Please see condition photos.

Title 4

John Coltrane “At the Village Vanguard”

Jacket not bad since it has been protected in plastic except for the opening edge. Please view condition photos of vinyl. Not bad overall, little dust and light vintage wear.

Title 5

Nat King Cole “Nature Boy”

Jacket and vinyl, no inner sleeve please view condition photos.

Title 6

Charlie Parker “Bird is Free”

Condition of album jackets is extremely worn, please see co diction photos of jackets and vinyl. The vinyl looks better than the jacket’s shelf wear.

Title 7

Charlie Parker “One Night in Birdland”

Great two vinyl album of Charlie Parker! I am only selling because I am closing out my record collection. Other than a split where the paper album cover came unglued as shown in condition photo and a couple specks of dust, this is it pretty good overall condition. I have never had an issue enjoying this piece of music. If you love jazz, then it’s a must!

Title 8

Billy Joel “The Stranger”

Jacket shows shelf wear and please see condition photos for vinyl, which has always been an enjoyable listen for me.

It ships promptly in a record shipping box via media mail.
