Classic Album, 180 gram audiophile vinyl pressing
This is the extremely rare Music on Vinyl 2013 pressing. This limited & individually numbered edition of the classic RATM debut album is one of only 500 copies released on Blue Marbled Vinyl, which were exclusive to What Records.
This 2013 release was made following the pressing defect on B side that affect playing on both Township Rebellion and Freedom on 230 copies of the Red couloured release which came out in 2011.
So somewhere out there are 500 red copies, some of which are defective, and 500 blue copies.
The record I’m selling is number 267 / 500
Before listing I checked both Discogs - the huge online music marketplace, and eBay to see how many were for sale.
As you can see, worldwide there are 4 for sale on Discogs, located in the U.K., France, Germany & USA
On eBay there was only one I could find, which I believe is the same copy as the one for sale in America on Discogs.
So I make that 4 copies out of the 500 being currently for sale that I know of worldwide!
Well, five now.
Record has been well looked after in the 7 years it’s been with me, maybe played through once, perhaps twice, and has been kept in a closed cupboard and in a smoke, pet & child-free home.
