Discs are roughly 145g in weight each - NOT 180g
I'm not a record grader - I'm a music / HiFi lover - So the following critique is based on my listening experience and the age of the record.
Discs both in very good condition as I take good care of my records. I'd like to describe them as excellent but there are several scuff marks from when the discs were initially stored in the paper sleeves. there are also hairline scratches that are visible but not audibleI will give both discs a clean in the ultrasonic bath prior to auction end.
I've just listened to them prior to listing and I find them to be relatively silent. there are ZERO pops or jumpsMy vinyl set up is generally more forgiving of bad pressings but it certainly doesn't hide them
FWIW I am a Radiohead fan and an audiophile - Whilst it's a fantastic album it's definitely not their best production. I feel that the bass on 'Lucky', 'No surprises' and 'Karma police' is overblown. I also consider the Crescendo of 'Let down' to sound better through a decent digital source and DAC. The 45rpm 'In Rainbows' destroys it for overall sound quality (in my opinion).
*That being said, if I was spending this amount of money I'd be more than satisfied with the performance*
jacket and inners in 'excellent' condition apart from 2 seam splits on the top of the jacket. this was probably caused during its trip from the original shop that I didn't notice at the time - pretty annoying really.
discs are stored out of the jacket in anti static sleeves and the gatefold itself is in a resealable vinyl protector
