Hello Again, friends of great music!    This show, for all you vinyl lovers, and there are a bunch out there judging by the number of you that have responded to my rare and old vinyl radio show sales, is a rare vinyl that you will not find on eBay ever.   This show is brought to you by your favorite Postal Bear who delivers perfectly every time, and his friends!    It is called COUNTRY CLOSEUP  and aired on the Narwood Productions, Inc.  Entertainment Network.  It was an enormously popular show in its day.  It was a one hour show and featured THE GREAT COUNTRY AND POP ARTIST GLEN CAMPBELL HOSTING ONE COUNTRY ARTIST EACH WEEK FOR AN HOUR TRIBUTE WITH THE ARTIST IN STUDIO AND EVERY SONG DURING THE HOUR A SONG MADE FAMOUS BY THE FEATURED ARTIST.  NEVER HAS THERE BEEN A SHOW LIKE THIS.  MANY HAD FEATURED GUESTS WHO PRESENTED THEIR SONGS ALONG WITH OTHERS BY OTHER ARTISTS BUT THIS SHOW WAS EXCULSIVELY ONE ARTIST PRESENTING HIS OR HER SONGS AND NONE OTHERS.  IT IS AN HOUR TRIBUTE TO ALL YOUR FAVORITE ARTISTS AND ALL PRESENTED BY ONE OF THE GREATEST TALENTS OF OUR GENERATION, GLEN CAMPBELL WHO HOSTED HIS OWN POPULAR TV SHOW FOR YEARS IN THE 60'S AND 70'S.     The interaction between Glen and his guest added to the specialness of this hour show.   It comes with its cue sheet in excellent condition and the vinyl disc itself is immaculate  like new.  This show probably was played on the day it aired and not since, THIRTY years later.      Each show contained from 11 to 13 tunes WITH ALL SORTS OF STORIES ABOUT THE SONG AND THE ARTIST DEVELOPED DURING THE RAPPORT BETWEEN GLEN AND HIS FEATURED ARTIST.  It is an enthralling hour that will captivate you.  You will be disappointed when it is over and want even more! THIS WEEK'S GUEST WITH LON HELTON WAS THE STATLER BROTHERS.  This show aired the week of APRIL 23, 1984.        Here are the songs that you will hear on this great hour of music!                      Whatever             Do You Remember These             Elizabeth               Oh Baby Mine             The Movies            Whatever Happened To Randolph Scott              A Child of the Fifties              Charlottes' Web          Flowers On The Wall            Guilty               How To Be A country Star            and                Atlanta Blue                     It is a great show.         It is a great hour.  The music is GREAT!        You will love this show and it belongs in your collection.    What a show!           It is a great variety of music along with interviews and fun facts.    How can you beat that!!!!!!   You will super great tunes and the best part is that you can hear them again and again, over and over,  whenever you want.          Remember, when you buy this show, not only will you own the tunes but also interspersed between songs is fascinating commentary on the artists and songs.    Also, keep in mind that this and all  shows are not just about the music - the music can be found anywhere.  It is the mixture of great music and great announcing that makes it so entertaining.  As well, it is a piece of radio history.  You just aren't going to find these shows anymore.  Think of what they will be worth in a few years!  (IF you wanted to sell.)  I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price   Most people even enjoy the national commercials that are included on the show because some 20 years later they sound good!                                       Included  on this show   are             Tupperware,        International Harvester                                   and more.  You can see by these commercials that the show attracted a great demographic.     Some people buy the shows for the commercials  they collect!  Either way, it is a great show and would be a valuable addition to your collectionGood Luck and God Bless You.
