USA buyers, due to recently enforced air security measures, please note if this is delivered to USA (or Territories) there is now a 9AUD  handling surcharge PLUS the normal post charge (x ray search) so that is why postage to USA destinations is so expensive in the postage Tab!!!!  SEA mail quote does not incur the $9 fee, but it might (definitely ) take upto 3 months to get to you I KNOW FROM PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE POSTING SEA MAIL TO UK, SO CHOOSE SEA MAIL OPTION WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DELAY AND PATIENCE !!

TWO SEPERATE SAMPLES ATTACHED TO THE PLAYER,

FIRST Sound sample of first few minutes of both sides record 4 where a series of small scratches are on the side you can hear NOW, (Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini) visually quite daunting, I can't believe they are such minimal interference (see the last 2 photo's ) but what you can hear is JUST A FEW QUIET PIPS on the first part of the sample playing thru those scratches ! . The other side which has no visual damage has more static background from sticky dust that I should have washed off before sound sampling. I will re-sample the now cleaned side 5, and ADD the extra sample in the next day or so.

(UPDATE 3 APRIL that is now the second sound sample, will start automatically after the first 7 minute sample finishes, or go mouse over and select it yourself, exactly the same section of beginning of side 5, now dust free)

First part of first sample is side 4 Rhapsody on A theme of Paganini . the scratches produce  just a few faint repetetive tics.  After a short break as I flip the disc, side 5 commences at 3 mins 40 secs. (Isle of the Dead)until the end of the 7 minute sample,  where the uncleaned record produces unrepetetive dust crackle, NOW REMOVED

The rest of the LP's seem almost unplayed and should sound no worse than that opening sample section, as there is only a few paper scuffs on the other LP's

My low sample rate DOES NOT give the full effect of the dynamics of these fabulous LP's.   I think I understand why these are TAS listed (The Absolute Sound Magazine recommended recordings list)  Very natural and 'present' feel to the Piano, I am positive  I can hear the sustain and soft pedal being operated in several places I test played!!! Really does give the feeling of being in the room with the playing

Other than a few initial pops and tics, quite clean as you can hear.

An Australian pressed copy of these RCA recordings, with the same stampers as the TAS listed USA copy.

All stampers 1S except one 2S and side 7 is 5S (Same as an American copy I found listed of RDA 29 stock number USA, sold and labeled in Australia as

RDS 23 (s = stereo, there was a mono set RDM 23 anyone want that instead? ?)

4 LP's CONDITION

Excellent overall, only that one section found at opening of Rhapsody on A Theme of Paganini with some soft tics!!....Other than to say I think it looks and sounds GREAT! with only very few paper scuffs only visible in sunlight, and only the very occasional pop or tic, which is spasmodic and non damage related, has its original like new gloss, I doubt this has been played very often at all. Partially TEST PLAYED before listing on ebay.

The LP's labels are in excellent unmarked condition, no spindle marks.

Records offered as found, not washed but VERY clean.

COVER (double box OUTER SLEEVE) NM 

Rest of cover shows   trace of bottom edgewear on cover, and some corner rubs (BLACK COVER of course..) and  No splits or bends.

Original plastic lined inner sleeves NM
