For auction is RUSS FREEMAN/RICHARD TWARDZIK: "Trio," on Pacific Jazz PJ-1212, Mono, DG, 1956.
SOUND: VG+ or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. It sounds terrific! Very clean and clear sound. I heard 3 quick "pops" on A3, "Bess You is My Woman," and a few soft pops on A6, "I'll Remember April." Side "B" (the Freeman side) is pretty much without flaw. Overall, a brilliant sounding record.
VINYL: VG+ (probably better)
Visually, the vinyl is remarkably nice! There are no marks or scuffs I can spot. very clean.
COVER: VG/VG+
The cover is heavier cardboard. The cover is split about 2/3 on the bottom right. The rest of the edges are solid with little wear. The corners are good, with only minor wear. Both the front and back are clean and unmarked, with routine aging.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
