Rush – Permanent Waves (Mercury – SRM-1-4001)
Pressing features: 1st Original US Press, 1980, Stereo, "Ray's Cut" version as per deadwax, making it highly sought after by audiophiles for it's superior sound quality compared to other versions.
Vinyl Record grade: Strong VG++ (graded conservatively, essentially Near Mint), record is in excellent condition with a beautiful sheen and high-gloss finish, well-preserved, clean surface and no signs of handling, no scratches
Cover/Jacket grade: VG+, jacket cover has vibrant colors and a strong spine, no splits, damage to front artwork on bottom of jacket (see photo)

Greater numbers and severty of scratches. Pronounced play wear. Visabily used.

Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt. Severe scrathes.

A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

Acceptable cover but may have drill hole or cut corner. May have a minor split side (1-3 inches), large sticker, or prominent ring wear. Corners are more rough.

Pervasive imperfections. Obvious wear and tear. Minor to major flaws including sticker rash, major doodles or other distracting writing, major ring wear, soft spine, or major, total split seem.
