This is an ORIGINAL 7" single - the first one on Anthem Records, released in 1977 after Anthem Records was formed to handle the ongoing (and former) Rush catalog in Canada. Of course, the two songs are from 1975 and 1976, having first come out on Mercury lps.
That said... You can confirm this is the original pressing of ANS-001, because the record label itself is visibly DIFFERENT than the unauthorized so-called "reissue" pressings that are being sold lately. Specifically - the copyright notice and record company address line at the edge of the label extends from the bottom of the 'a' in 'anthem' around to the bottom of the 'm' in 'anthem'. The reissues have a copyright notice and record company address that begin and end noticeably lower.
I am grading the sleeve as NM, and the record itself as VG+. (Goldmine grading system) Visually, the record is NM, but singles are really hard to call NM in my opinion...
I have played it through on both sides once without issue. Shiny vinyl. Clean labels.
