The legendary Canadian rock band Rush celebrated their 40th anniversary a couple of years ago. Hard to believe that it's been over 40 years, but Rush is considered one of the world's quintessential hard rock and progressive rock bands! Their recent induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was long over-due, but they took their place alongside the other great bands whose music will live on forever! But I'm almost certain, even though they may no longer tour these long, extravagant world tours, we haven't heard the last from Geddy, Alex, and Neil. Up for grabs today is a three item bundle from Rush! First up is the European only (Holland) compilation from 1979, titled 'Rush Through Time', and the rare FIRST PRESS picture disc version! It's a great live shot of the band, with the same pic on both sides. Next up is a Japanese release (or reprint, if you will) of Rush's awesome second album, 'Fly By Night', also on a picture disc! And to make this already sweet deal even sweeter, I'll add the special 40th anniversary of '2112', which is TWO CDs, and a DVD! Please note that this does NOT contain the surround sound Blu Ray of '2112', (I actually have that listed separately). But what it DOES contain is tons of cool stuff, instead of just the remastered album! Live stuff, tributes from rock stars that are Rush fans, as well as interviews with Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, and Rush producer Terry Brown! With Christmas just around the corner, you know the Rush fan in your life will love this as a gift, or get it for yourself, because you're worth it! 'Rush Through Time' has some surface marks and light scuffs. Nothing very bad or too noticeable unless up close. The original die-cut sleeve is acceptable, with a large water stain that someone tried to tape (!?!) but no splits and still intact (see pic). 'Fly By Night' is not that old, and looks all shiny and clean! Comes with original jacket and insert sash with discography! The box set of '2112' is still sealed and never opened or played!
