Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Legendary melody punk classic from Belfast, Northern Ireland, released in 1978. Old eBay prices for this single: £200 + £180 + £150 + £148 + $200 + $200 + $200 again. Issued on Belfast’s finest punk & powerpop label ‘Good Vibrations’. It’s also the first label release (catalogue number GOT ONE). Pressed in several different coloured KARLOFF MUMMY sleeves, way back in 1978. Only early pressings like this one were born with push-out centre labels. Later pressings show solid centre labels. ‘Big Time’ on the A-side is crammed-full with sparkling melodies, topped with fantastic guitar riffs and superb vocals. The B-sider ‘Number One’ is, also, an extremely catchy melody punker. Your record collection is definitely not complete if you don’t have this super-classic. On the top of that, this red print on white poster sleeve rarely shows up for sale. As you know label mates were the UNDERTONES (Teenage Kicks), VICTIM (Strange Thing By Night) and PROTEX (Don't Ring Me Up). There is a soft sticker stain from a price tag on top of the front sleeve otherwise the condition is:

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
