Description
Here's a mysterious, single-sided "Advertising" record for the 1939 Kay Kyser movie, "THAT'S RIGHT! YOU'RE WRONG!" I put "Advertising" in quotes because this item could NEVER have made it past the stuffy network radio sponsors and censors! Indeed, it was never intended to. It is by turns scatalogical, insulting and rude to Mr. Kyser, who, in being present, nevertheless was in on the joke. The semi-talented Mr. Counselman and Mr. Kern make goofy fun of Kyser's "barefooted" relatives, his North Carolina home town, Walter Winchell's radio show, and much more. This disc is a total HOOT.
This unique 1939 single-sided, blank-label, ten-and-a-half inch Victor pressing (mx. BVE-042199-1) is in slightly kicked-around V++ condition.
