Description

This is part of a big auction of 45's from several independent 1950's LA-area labels that I'm running this week. I apologize if you were looking for the Rockabilly auction. Due to some upcoming travel and time restraints, I've had to change the order of the auctions. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Duke Records and a Chess/Checker/Excello auction later in October.

Release: King Perry & His Orchestra - Everybody Jump / Vaccinate Me Baby

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1953


Notes: The second single of just handful of singles by King Perry and his first on RPM.  Side A is a pretty straight forward jump blues track, but Vaccinate is a really cool blues-leaning R&B track with some very clever lyrics.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just one small hairline on Jump side and a small pressing bubble on Vaccinate side. Neither affect play at all. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are very nice with original gloss and no writing/tears, just the tiniest bit of ring scuffing.  See pics, but this is a really nice copy overall.


Sleeve Condition: VG, original company sleeve has some wrinkles and light bends. There are no tears or splits though. Color is really nice.
