DESCRIPTION : Unbelievably rare UK-only late-'70s PRIVATE PRESS album from the ROY WILLIAMS TRINITY. ...on CLEAR vinyl!
This is the second (and last) album from the Clacton? based 'cabaret band' and is bizarrely wonderful!
....their first LP 'Touch of Class' (also very rare, now selling for £100!!) was a more country based 'cover version' affair... ....whereas on this album the band play ALL original compositions, including a dreamy weird track about UFO sightings, and an even more bizarre 'cosmic' disco-rock track entitled 'take me to your disco' about an alien arrival looking for a place to get down (I'm not making this up!!) with bonkers sound efx and a mad dalek voice in places! great! .Check the soundclip above! (from the actual record, fades out half way through track)
...there's even a (non-ironic) song entitled 'touch wood' sung with female backing singer Sally (bless her)....
This is naive, 'cabaret' rock at its very, very best.....and, as it's a Private Press this would have had brief one-off pressing of only a few hundred (to be sold at supper clubs) and therefore NEVER turns up, only one I've ever seen ....Original UK PRESSING.

CONDITION : CLEAR Vinyl: VG+ (few light superficial surface marks & minor hairlines only) In picture sleeve: EXCELLENT- (slight edge & corner wear. minor ring wear & creasing to back cover - signed on the back by SALLY of the band "with love and best wishes")
