50th Anniversary..
An original 1st press of FYP on UK Island. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1MM/1CO - 1st mother. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover laminated cover. Worth mentioning - the manufacturing quality on this cover is outstanding. Good stiff card and super lamination. A generic white inner from the time.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one minor deviation per side. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A cracking copy by any measure - the delivery is lovely and clean. This allows you to sit back and marvel at this classic 70's title. Minimal sign of background. Lovely and clean even into the supper fussy sections. A few brief crackles in one brief spot per side.  Music doesn't get any better than this. Superb!
Cover (Ex/Ex-) In super condition and has survived the years in far better condition than many examples. The lamination and heavy card has left a cover that is 50 years old in super condition. Lovely solid opening panel. Sharp openings. Hardly any edge wear and the spine 99% intact. The interior looks superb too. It doesn't suffer the ageing you often find. But there is a print fail over on the right side - bit of "blue" spilling out. To be honest not a problem - and I really appreciate the LACK of ageing on the interior.
