Original Italian copy of the second album by IL ROVESCIO DELLA MEDAGLIA, issued on RCA label.
A great hard prog band, one of the most popular in Italy, this was an ambitous work that had in the first copies a bronze medallion inserted into the front cover hole. These early copies now fetch incredible prices.
This one on auction is a standard copy (no medallion, replaced with a colour picture) having a gatefold cover with centre hole and an inner lyric sheet.

The thin and fragile cover is usually damaged and this is no exception, having been repaired on the top left corner. As you can see from the attached pictures, the repair is well made, but visible from the back, where a paper patch has been glued on the cover. Apart from this defect the cover is flat and in Excellent condition.

The vinyl has some light marks, and plays very well with very low surface noise especially in the quietest parts (which are very limited in this record!). I would grade it halfway between Very Good + and Excellent but many European dealers would surely go for an Excellent grade.

The record has been fully tested with a Shure V15 Type III at 1.5 gr.

Copia originale italiana del secondo LP del ROVESCIO DELLA MEDAGLIA, stampato dalla RCA. Questo grande e popolarissimo gruppo di hard prog fece uscire questo ambizioso album che aveva nelle primissime copie un medaglione di bronzo nel foro centrale della copertina. Inutile dire che il prezzo delle copie con il medaglione è molto elevato.
La copie in vendita qui è una di quelle standard (senza il medaglione, sostituito da una foto a colori) con la copertina apribile con foro centrale e un foglio incollato all'interno contenente i testi.

La copertina molto delicata è generalmente rovinata e questa copia non fa eccezione, essendo stata riparata sull'angolo in alto a sinistra. Come si può vedere nelle foto qui sotto la riparazione è fatta bene, ma visibile dalla parte interna dove è stata applicata una toppa. A parte questo difetto la copertina è in eccellenti condizioni, senza pieghe, strappi o altro.

Il vinile ha qualche segno superficiale ma suona molto bene con limitato rumore di fondo avvertibile nelle parti a più basso volume (ben poche, per la verità in questo disco).
