Up for your consideration is this very scarce 1968 copy of "High Lonesome Sound" by Roscoe Holcomb. This was released on the Folkways label as FA 2368.  This is an original copy recorded in 1965 and not the reprint. Complete with booklet. Haunting Appalachian banjo music by one of the best ever. I believe this was used as the soundtrack to a short black and white film of the same name released in the 1960's. Very hard to find original pressing.

Before you bid, please read the fine print

Bid with confidence that your record will be packed properly and shipped promptly. All LP's are cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, inserted into new anti static sleeves and then into new 3 mil outer sleeves prior to shipping. I ship only in new designated record shipping cartons with reinforced inserts.

I try to describe items as honestly and accurately as possible. I encourage questions, but please ask them prior to bidding. It will help avoid confusion.

California buyers will be charged 7.75% sales tax unless a signed California resale card is provided prior to shipping. Just a number won't due.

I charge only actual shipping costs plus a small "handling fee". Ebay has a gag order on us about discussing insurance, so this covers insurance, delivery confirmation and the extra shipping costs recently imposed on sellers. Sorry!

I will contact the winner after the auction with exact shipping costs. Please wait for the invoice!

If your feedback is less than 5, please contact me prior to bidding, or your bid may be cancelled.

International buyers please check for exact shipping costs. Our postal department recently increased the postage on first class international shipments dramatically. I'm not certain that ebay shipping quotes are accurate. Your order is subject to being cancelled if you do not get the right shipping quote prior to paying. If the price quoted by ebay is too low, I will not make up the difference!

International buyers please note; Purchaser is responsible for all customs fees and tariffs applied to item purchased. I always disclose on customs forms, Always!!

Well, that's out of the way. Now, let's have some fun!!

Thanks for looking & GOOD LUCK!!

All items shipped within 48 hours (usually within 24 hours) of cleared payment. All items sold "AS IS".

Your payment must be received within five days from the date of the end of the auction. Unless prior arrangements have been made, an unpaid item dispute will be filed with ebay. If PayPal is an issue, please email me for other options.
