This is a 1959 45 record (LOVE YOU SO/MY BABE) by RON HOLDEN, who was born in Seattle, WA on August 7th, 1939. He died in Mexico on January 22, 1997. He was an American pop singer who was discovered by Larry Nelson, who had just left work as a police officer to start his own record label, NITE OWL RECORDS. Holden supposedly spread the rumor that he had been heard singing by Nelson while being held in prison after being arrested for marijuana and alcohol possession, but the story has not been confirmed. The single, "Love You So" was released on Nite Owl in 1959 and it became a hit in the US. Donna Records bought the rights to Holden's recordings around 1960 and issued a full LP entitled Love You So; this record was re-issued by Del-Fi Records in 1994. THIS IS REALLY AN EXCELLENT COPY OF THIS HARD TO FIND 45. THIS IS A FIRST RELEASE!!!!!
CONDITION: NM- SERIOUSLY, IF THE DISC JOCKY HAD NOT PUT TWO X'S ON SIDE B'S LABEL( SEE PIC) THE RECORD WOULD BE NM. THERE ARE NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF WEAR, NO MARKS OR SCRATCHES AND THE LABELS ARE FRESH AND BRIGHT.

NM: Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage
VG+: Very few signs of handling and still very shiny looking near new but a few tiny scuffs or light scratches from being slipped in and out of jackets
VG: Some wear, scratches and scuffs but nothing that should affect the quality of the sound. There may be some background noise
